After all, who likes to scrub away ointment from under their nails?

When I first heard about these I had to laugh and thought they were one of those useless and stupid things people buy for babies. But then, during a particularly rough diaper change, I managed to slit my little baby's bottom with my frayed fingernail while applying the cream and I felt TERRIBLE. He didn't seem to care, but that little red streak just stared at me like a badge of shame for the rest of the day. That night I bought a butt spatula (as my husband and I now call it) and now we use it with almost every diaper change. Best $5 I've spent in a long time.
