I bought this as an alarm clock/radio for my bedroom. This is a nice device with the retro look of 40's and 50's radios, but a cross between a classic radio alarm clock and a car radio. It's definitely too much for a bedside setup. The clock is good, but even on the lowest Lite setting, it's too bright for a night's sleep. The alarm clock is easy to set, but unfortunately using this feature on a daily basis would be frustrating. The on/off switch is on the back of the radio, which means that if the alarm wakes you, you have to reach back to turn off the alarm. Bluetooth works great, the sound quality is actually quite good for such a cheap device. But for Bluetooth to work, you need to switch it from radio to Bluetooth on the back of the device. The only control available is the Repeat/Fade control on the top of the radio. This radio is designed for an office bookshelf where it will look great. You just can't use the radio or Bluetooth without selecting that feature on the back.
