Workmanship: The quality seems reasonable for a Chinese high-end product. Plain aluminum. Screws with end caps. The board looks normal, nothing is sticking out. There isn't really a "clamping force" on the little TIM shim it comes with. You just slide it onto the SSD chips and gently slide it into the case. There is very little resistance. When tightening the screws, it looks like the SSD is pressed a little against the pad and case. Other than that, there's no rattle and the case heats up pretty quickly on the SSD/heatsink side, so I'm assuming it's making good contact there. It cools way better than the SSD in the laptop, so I'm not worried about that. The case is not sealed at all, there are clearly gaps in the end caps for air to blow through, so there is ZERO water/dust inside. Resistance. Not really a problem IMO, but just something to be aware of. Performance is great, 950/950 read/write with my 1TB Samsung 961 NVME drive. I managed over 17.29 GB of data in less than a minute. I move data this way all the time, so this should be a really nice benefit over the 300Mbps USB3 SATA SSDs I've used in the past. I will update my review later after working for a while.
