Successful or not I guess

Update: I got a second set to see if there was a difference and they are MUCH better. I can definitely use the second set. I asked if the material is to be thin and sticky and they said no, but the product I received is thin like slime that my kids will play with and sticks to my hands so I'm scared of it to use at all on my dashboard. Not to mention any gaps in my car or anywhere else.
