These shoes are very light and comfortable. I bought the next size up and mainly use it for running. They're roomier, but I find they provide the perfect "give" to every movement of the foot as you walk. With other shoes I often get "toe squeeze" when descending, but not with this one. So the nails do not hurt after a walk. Haven't had the chance to use them at the gym but I would highly recommend them as my previous pair were excellent.
