This bed frame was very bad. It took less than a year, maybe 6 months at most. There were issues with the way it was welded and with some of the holes drilled for construction, resulting in a 30 minute project turning into a 3 hour project when we set it up . My spouse and I are in our 20's and have built many different pieces of IKEA furniture and my spouse is very comfortable too. This was really disappointing because the frame itself was very cute. This might be fine in a guest room where nobody sleeps in a bed except during the holiday season and unless you have horrible welded parts, but definitely not for your master bedroom. I don't normally write bad reviews but I would not recommend this product to friends/family.
