Review on MOJO Silent Bluetooth Vertical Mouse: Wireless Ergonomic Optical Mouse with Adjustable Sensitivity and Quiet Buttons - Perfect Grip Dual Mode (Bluetooth + 2.4 GHz Wireless) by Mufti Capers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall: it's mediocre

I came back here to write this review about 4 times. I really wanted to like it but it's mediocre. Pros: + The design is relatively comfortable for an ergonomic mouse, very comfortable compared to a regular mouse. + The click is pleasantly soft, not too much effort. Disadvantages: - Clicks are sometimes not registered - Spatial resolution and/or Bluetooth connection sometimes cause the mouse to stutter/bounce - Small size for male hands (which is more important than a regular mouse where your pinky or ring finger rests can be). the mouse pad) - the placement of the scroll wheel and thumb button - needs fixing every time you turn it off. The wrist angle is comfortable and it feels good enough in the hand. My hands are a little bigger than the average man's, a lot bigger than women's or children's, and they're a bit small, but okay. Likewise, it's thin and too much like pinching my thumb and forefinger all the time, which is probably fine once you get used to it. The keys don't click loudly, but new ones don't always register either, which is annoying. What really affected my review is that the mouse isn't accurate/sensitive. With the amount of attention the manufacturer must have given to the ergonomic design, they must have forgotten to use decent hardware, so I'm having a hard time floating exactly where I want it and it seems like it will jump from point to point. It's okay, but it doesn't roll around and jumps noticeably at times. I bet it's a combination of the light sensor underneath and the bluetooth receiver performance or connection refresh rate. Maybe they made too many compromises to extend battery life and limited those performance components or just used cheap parts. You can buy a regular mouse of similar manufacture for around $10. Ergonomics isn't rocket science, so for $26 I was expecting a little more quality/performance. I would recommend the manufacturer AA batteries. People actually like the weight and this will likely result in some performance improvements.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Quality
