SO. Unbeknownst to me, my five-year-old pressed the MTS button on the old remote that was on its last legs. I threw it away after it fell irreparably onto my cement floor too many times and tried a plain old Wally World universal remote. worked fine I was able to switch channels, adjust volume, and access menus. But one night I turned on the TV and found that some of the channels were too loud, or they were showing a movie in Spanish but all the commercials were in English. The El Cheapo remote didn't have an MTS/SAP button, and on the Vizio TV model I didn't have the option to change it in the sound settings menu. I was very angry. Checked Revain, found it, ordered it, received Prime within 22 hours, put in some batteries, pointed at TV, pressed MTS button and viola. FREE! PERFECT! GREAT! We're back in business with this great perfect great remote control. No programming required. Plug in the batteries and you're done. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
