This summer I adopted a five year old boxer mix from the animal shelter. Over the summer I struggled with the quality of his coat, a lack of interest in food and the inability to fill out a questionnaire. I met an employee at a local pet shop who knew him before and discovered that he had corn, wheat, soy, and chicken sensitivities. . This information didn't stay with the shelter, so it was nice to know! I started researching and tried this meal for several reasons: price, ingredients and quality were consistently better than comparable alternatives. His fur is softer and less bristly, he has gained weight and he really likes this food. I couldn't be happier! Iams is half the price per pound but I'm so glad I found this because it works MUCH better for him and is gentler on his stomach. It's been over a month now and he hasn't had any issues with the 12 day gradual transition. Thank you SolidGold!
