This pin comes in a pretty box, ideal for gift wrapping. The pin itself is bright and the shiny gold color looks great on dark fabrics. The engraving on the gold crown is detailed and beautiful. The crystals shine and there's no glue behind me. Chains tend to twist and tangle, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. This is costume jewelry, so the tallow will eventually stain it. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be as much of a problem as it is with a ring or bracelet. Wand clasp and mine were tight and worked well. The price seems a bit high to me. The pin is beautiful but clearly looks and feels like jewelry.
