Faber-Castell Modern Calligraphy Kit - Lettering and calligraphy crafts is a good kit for beginners. I've had an interest in learning calligraphy for a long time and this set seemed pretty complete for learning that. The kit includes the basics you need to learn the technique. The set includes: 3 high-quality black Pitt Artist Pens (brush, bullet and soft brush), 4 tubes (10 ml) of watercolor paint (red-violet, yellow-gold, emerald green and cobalt blue), graphite. Pencil, envelope and curve template, ruler, practice pad, mini water brush and instruction booklet. Also included is "special access to 10 separate online videos of techniques and instructions created by professional calligraphers to help you learn the basics of calligraphy." It tells you how to hold the pens correctly and how hard you have to push the pins when you throw a punch. It covers what every learner should know. I found the online videos very helpful as you can see how to perform a specific technique and result. I still have a long way to go to become proficient but I have high hopes for this kit and watching videos. I know this will take a lot of practice, but these tools will help me with it.
