This perm can withstand up to 450 degrees and is ideal for very thick hair. I managed to create really beautiful beachy waves on my hair. I would like to point out that this is a sway that creates tight waves, not those big vintage Hollywood waves that the model has in the listing pictures. They are made by crimping hair, combing curls and creating waves. This waver gives you beach waves like a mermaid. Such waves are obtained after tightly weaving hair. I like the look, especially with long hair. The kegs are nice and big, they heat up quickly and the light turns green when the chosen temperature is reached. All in all, between the high temperature settings and the large barrel size... this waver is perfect for long and thick hair. I'm very happy with the results I've had with this swing compared to those I've tried in the past.
