Review on ⚡️ Black X-ACTO® Mighty Pro™ Electric Pencil Sharpener - Optimize Your Search by Michelle Langley

It's a beast

I recommend watching X acto's video which gives the specs of the different sharpeners to help you decide which one you need. I tried this one because of the double spiral blades. And, wow, that's a beast, very big and heavy! So I think it has the best motor and will probably run for the next hundred years! I'm an artist and I need to sharpen a lot of different pencils, but not at high volume. It's possible that the particular sharpener I received was misaligned, but it unevenly shaved the wood on the pins at the stained end rather than the wood closest to the tip. It was pretty straight so the tip didn't seem to have come loose. It tapers to a fairly long point, which can weaken the point of a pencil with a wider core (such as Derwent Drawing). It was fast and very solid, but everyone said I didn't find it smooth enough to justify the price. I chose the other X-Acto which sharpens very well (still uneven so maybe common with screw sharpeners), is much smaller and produces a touch shorter than the tip.
