Emptor warns against use on Samsung phones

Yesterday I used an Anker USB-C to Ethernet adapter on my Samsung S20 phone. There are no problems connecting to the network. I bought Anker because I think they are just as good if not better than the OEM hardware. When I got home, I put my phone in my pocket to charge it. I immediately got the dreaded Samsung water drop. The USB-C was bone dry when I plugged it in. I tried all the recommended methods to solve the problem but to no avail. I submitted a return request to Revain and they immediately gave me a full refund. The problem is that now I have to use a Qi charger because the USB-C port is damaged. To be fair this is the second Samsung product I own that has had its charging port damaged although I have not used a regular refill charging cable on either my S8 or S20. Though I think Anker is harmless and Revane did the right thing. it's mine, I have yet to issue a vigilance warning. If I'm mad at anyone, it's Samsung. which damaged the charging port although I didn't use a regular refill charging cable on either my S8 or S20.
