It will do the trick but the locking mechanism is just a hole in the plastic that the metal tongue twists into. The catch is that the hole goes straight through and opens into the RV. This way, when water comes out of the vent, it will flow through this hole into the interior of the RV instead of running down the sides as intended. Bad design, choose another one. Edit: If you have space you can rotate it I suppose. Not exactly an option in my situation, but it's worth noting that this is an orientation issue.
