Pros: Very strong and stays in place without much vibration. Holds the tablet well and rotates well. Since anything mounted on an extension cord is subject to vibration, this one works pretty well. Good materials and well finished. for my Subaru Outback when attached to the seat bolt and holding a 7-8 inch tablet. The edge of the tablet would rest against the shift knob unless seated in the passenger footwell or oriented vertically. I could lift it up if I wanted to install it with the included hardware by drilling into the side of the bottom panel/console bar, but I don't want to do that just yet. under the car, guess where the holes will be and make sure you don't drill anything major. Given that many cars and especially trucks require a lift I would have to deduct half a star and give it a 3.5
