I decided to upgrade after my small $50 unit died after 3 years of daily use. I wanted a humidifier that I didn't have to refill every other day. The water tank is on this monster so I filled it up in the shower. If you are not strong this method will not work as it is quite difficult to lift when it is filled to the max. Another option would be to take a few trips with a small bowl/bucket to fill up. The good news is that this only needs to be done once a week or so. Bad news. It worked great for a week, it was very quiet and the mist is very good, but the first time I had to fill it up the pump stopped working. Very upset as this is a higher end device costing over $100. I decided to exchange and hope I only got a dud. I will update as soon as a new car comes out, hopefully it's worth the money. UPDATE: First week and so far the pump is running. This is a great moisturizer if it's a long lasting one!
