The attached instructions are out of date. You should be able to just plug it in and go! If you're having trouble, just visit the mobile pixel support site. Otherwise, it's a pretty good little monitor! The only real problem is that the magnets aren't strong enough to support it when the screen is pulled out. I assume this can be fixed fairly easily with velcro. In general, I am satisfied with the motorhome! UPDATE: Don't put metal washers at all; they are very difficult to remove! Instead, just use some large velcro straps.
