The attached instructions are out of date. You should be able to just plug it in and go! If you're having trouble, just visit the mobile pixel support site. I would give 5 stars if it was easier to set up. I got this for my work laptop and had to contact the IT department. take over and set up my account remotely as I don't have admin rights. It took them 2 hours over 2 days to figure it out. However, the instructions seemed very simple, so it's entirely possible that the IT staff got it wrong. I desperately miss my dual monitor setup in my office. Since working from home on a laptop, I've been sucking at retractable screens that I found online. Excellent goods. The screen is very easy to install. The packaging was interesting to open. Having an extra monitor is great, but a 12-inch monitor would probably be worth it. I tend to try to get the best bang for my buck which is why I chose this 14 inch monitor. Unfortunately the weight of the monitor seems to be too much for the magnets. When the monitor is pulled out as intended, the magnets will pull it towards the back of the monitor it is attached to. Easy to use and install. Great if you are mobile and/or travel abroad/frequently. There is additional weight to consider, but it is better than shipping and/or buying monitors when a more permanent setup is not possible. Image quality is acceptable and does the job. I really like trios. A total of 4 trios were bought these days. I use two trios on two different brands of computers. Two of them are 14" for Macbook Pro 15" (2015) and the other two are 12.5" Trio for Asus Zenbook Duo 14" (2015) may need to stand for other Trio because Trio can receive signals for cc , but signals from HDMI, B. The picture quality is really good. Due to the weight of the screen, there needs to be something on the side to give it more leverage and keep it level (which doesn't really matter). You need to install the software and from there connect the device to your computer (with magnets on your computer; bonus, they also add more magnets for other devices) and away you go!

Good that there is an additional screen. I bought one that's too big for my 13" MacBook Pro, but as long as it's on a solid surface it's fine. It makes the job a lot easier.

It would be much better if it came with a small stand to keep the monitor balanced with the laptop. In general, it copes with its task. However, the screen looks a bit blurry. I'm still trying to figure out how to tweak the settings.

The screen protector assembly uses magnets to connect to metal plates that you attach to the back of the laptop. The screen slides out of the case. Before attaching the metal plates, read the instructions and make sure to place the plates in the right place so the screen can slide out and then pivot towards you. Why are portable monitors less popular? I like it! I often work with multiple systems and often have to switch between programs while working. Due to the nature of my job, working with one monitor is incredibly frustrating, so I usually work from a desktop with two large monitors. Whether I'm traveling or in a situation where I need to work with my laptop outside of the office, this monitor is so functional and saves me a lot of time. This portable monitor makes working on the go a lot easier.
