The pillow is not suitable for babies under one year old. We only use the bed for my 8 month old daughter. She sleeps next to me and I can easily feed her at night. She falls asleep quickly and loves the feeling of security at her sides. I couldn't afford a docking station so I tried this one and was very pleased. I ended up buying two so I can always turn one on on laundry day because it takes a bit of work to put the lid back on. .If you plan on sleeping together, look for safe ways to do it. I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it.
