I was in a hurry and didn't follow the instructions to wash the filter. My first pitcher of water tasted a bit strange but has been fine ever since. I use it in the office where tap water has heavy minerals and tastes bad. This filter purifies and alkalizes the water, making it tasty and healthy.
- Instructions for using the filter for the first time: Clean the filter under running water for approx. 1 minute, then immerse the filter in water and shake gently for approx. 1 minute. This is the best way to use the filter, it will not leak and the filtration flow will be smooth.
