When the cubes arrived I left them in the package overnight. When I opened them the next morning I was surprised to find the cubes were literally ice cold, indicating high quality stainless steel. The cubes looked very beautiful and stylish. I've enjoyed them in almost all of my cold beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. You can add/remove as many cubes as you like to adjust the temperature of your drinks to your liking. If you bought this as a gift I would recommend keeping the dice in the box and not touching them with your hand as they can leave fingerprints (which is to be expected on any shiny stainless steel surface). If you want them to shine I would recommend washing them with water and wiping them with a microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the surface.
