To be honest this thing is amazing EXCEPT for the center joint which has a latch to keep the arm on little up. I've had it for a month and this latch hasn't broken, it just holds the position very loosely. I think this is to elevate the phone a bit so it doesn't hit the dash below or behind. Unfortunately, since it no longer fits me, the holder hangs on the dashboard. Even more unfortunate is that I easily slung it over the alarm button and if I hit the bump hard enough the weight of the phone would hit my perils. VERY disappointed with this UPDATE. I contacted the seller and they arranged for a replacement to be sent. I received it quickly (like the next day) and installed it. The connection works and hopefully it lasts longer now that I have a configuration that works and it doesn't move at all. I will update if I have another issue but appreciate the seller's efforts to fix the issue. 4 stars.
