Throw away your tombow

Put away your brushes and markers and take care. I decided to learn to paint with a brush. I ordered this pen before reading 5000 places online that Tombow pens are "so great everyone uses them". But there were also many warnings for them. The ends are bent. The ends are frayed. Lots of tips. And I understood why THIS pen was so great. He has a REAL brush. I was able to use more types of paper, achieve a greater variety of line weights with a single pen, and load a new cartridge when it ran out. I went through hundreds of pages of writing exercises. The pen is still in great condition and I only have a second cartridge. Yes, Tombow pens come in rainbow colors. But to learn. that's a pretty steep price. Once you've dried a pen, the entire set needs to be replaced just to regain that color. Maybe it would make sense if I opened an additional labeling business. But let's face it, you can jazz up rainbow lettering with bold Crayola markers. For practicing or just working in black I cannot recommend this pen enough. - As a note - I'm a total snob for selling artwork. I don't recommend it as a cheap alternative. What I'm saying is that the quality MUCH overshadows the cost and the benefits are above standard. Buy a pen. You'll see what I mean. And no, nobody paid me in goods or money for the review. This is actually a great pen.
