highlighted. with caution. USB 3.0 is unstable on my laptop. and now with Win 10 upgrade instructions

My settings Asus U56EWindow 7 Home Premium USB 3 and USB 2 ports The product came in a plain brown box with installation software on a CD. Follow the installation instructions on the CD.1. Install CD2. Run master3. Plug the Linksys adapter into a USB port 34. Connecting to my wireless network The adapter setup went smoothly and I connected to my router (TP-LINK Archer C9 AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit AC Router). Speed and connectivity were great. After a few days, the adapter seemed unreliable. The laptop needs to be restarted. Lost connection in 5G network. Exit sleep mode. No connection. Solution: I removed the adapter and reinstalled it using a USB 2.0 port. The adapter has become more stable and reliable without losing download/upload speed. If you are having stability issues, try your USB 2.0 port. 4 stars. One star deducted due to USB 3.0 issue. Edit for the adapter speed. Approximately 50 feet across 3 walls. ping 24ms. Download: 52 Mbit/s. Download: 12 Mbit/s. , the adapter is rock solid, plugged into my USB 2 port. No disconnects, always connected after waking up. I like it. Edited from my comfy bed :-) Editing for Windows 10 I just installed a free update for Windows 10. The update had a major impact on the wireless drivers. The solution is as follows, when the Win 10 update is complete, you need to update the device driver software.
