Review on πŸ”Œ Replacement HX6100 Charging Base for Philips Sonicare Toothbrush: Efficient Electric Toothbrush Charger by LAP POW by Christopher Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Should do the job (with some small compromises)

Five years ago I bought my "luxury" Sonicare toothbrush directly from my dentist for $200. Two chargers were included in the box: 1. a 'home' version with storage and UV disinfection, and 2. a 'travel charger' or a simple spare model like the one above. I started abandoning that extra "backup" charger when I discovered the seemingly never-ending power supply in my toothbrush (I used it twice a day for 5-6 days - a total of 80-96 minutes - continuously). the slightest trace of emptying. Maybe a fully charged Sonicare will last 10 days but probably not 10 months (who knows how long that quarantine lasts?) Anyhow, I ordered this charger from Revain just in case and despite warnings of a delay in delivery due to Covid 19, it got it was delivered within 2 days. Note that the charger is a universal, one-size-fits-all stand with no branding (Phillips or Sonicare) on the device. It just says "For electric toothbrushes". For a few dollars more, you might get a more customized brace, if not a genuine Sonicare model. In fact, at Christmas 2019 I was surprised to see that $20 Sonicare electric toothbrushes like mine at Revain were 1/10th of what I paid for. Ger, be sure to check the price of a brand new system - Sonicare Toothbrush + Charger. Subject: The performance of this universal charger: It charges your toothbrush as efficiently and quickly as a real original model. However, the toothbrush sits more loosely on the frame and "spins" without much encouragement. Not recommended for a moving caravan or crowded toilets or for fathers of daughters who require a lot of activity in the mirror.

Pros
  • Replacement toothbrush heads
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
