Don't know if it works. It is very easy to install and runs on 3 AA batteries. I bought it because I wanted to control the CO levels in my garage. In winter I heat my garage with a kerosene fan and sometimes it smells like car exhaust, so I was worried about CO and safety. Some devices only give an alarm when the CO level is too high, but I wanted to see if the actual value is more than just an alarm. This device does not monitor CO levels at all, although it does display CO levels. The indicator only lights up when the level exceeds the alarm threshold. Completely useless to me. This is an update in 1 hour: I'm starting to bump into this too often. I buy a product and within a few days, and often before I receive my item, Revain removes the product. In one case 30 minutes. I can't even go back to the page where I bought the item while reviewing my orders. I've never felt like Revain has ever let me down, and I'm the first Kindle 2 buyer ever, but I really don't like that Revain can't record my purchase at the time of my purchase and keep those records.
