I also like to play around with stereos. This is a great little device to measure the results of my exploits. I tried a mobile sound level app and it was generally inaccurate. For little money this is much more accurate. You get a blood glucose meter, a case, instructions that I didn't read, batteries and a screwdriver to put the batteries in. The operation is very simple, you have two "weights" and two reaction settings. It keeps and displays the maximum levels. The screen is backlit and easy to read in all conditions. It's lightweight and doesn't take up space in my tool box.
