Review on Husky Liners 17097 Kick Back Mud Flaps 12-Inch Wide - Stainless Steel Top/White Compatible with Silverado, F-150, and Ram Trucks, Black by Chris Kirby

Low Quality Equipment

Note that these mudflaps are a 'universal' product. This means that while these mudflaps are advertised as "fitting" for your truck, be aware that these mudflaps are NOT specifically designed to fit your truck. Rather, they can be customized to suit your application if you have the ability to see through them. I'm lucky, I'm a mechanic with a lot of options. I can fit these mudguards to the Radio Flyer with a little fiddling. Get used to the fact that when you buy these fenders you will quickly find that the assembly instructions that come with them are completely useless. To make matters worse, the equipment package supplied is (for lack of a better term) scrap-bit when new fenders are supplied; Open the box and quickly toss the gear bag in the trash can. Go to your local hardware store and buy good quality nuts and bolts that are specifically designed for your application. Even the seemingly simple cap screws and nylon fasteners that attach the fender to the mounted bracket are absolute crap. Believe me; Buy quality equipment and save yourself a lot of trouble. Crappy hardware aside, I've played around with the setup and gotten pretty decent results. If the flaps hold up for a while, I might revisit this review.
