Essentially glass, not plastic like other sets
Beware of other sets that are made of plastic rather than glass and are easily scratched and broken. This kit is actually made of glass and the quality tools make it easy to install. It took me an hour to finish and my iPad 4 works great. The home button included in the kit works, which I've seen on other kits. Make sure you check everything before sticking. Cables are very sensitive to slight slipping.
