I have now ordered 2 of these. One is on the back of my desk and the other one I made into a cloud lamp with my girlfriend. Both are powered by esp8266 nodemcu chip with wled. The candles are pretty solid, especially for the price. They are bright, responsive, with no dead pixels and other things. Adhesion isn't very good, but they stay. It's powerful enough to be self-supporting, but everything connected to it (microcontrollers, etc.) definitely needs to be connected separately. They're probably about a millimeter or two thick. For the price I would definitely recommend. Note that like most microcontrollers, the bulbs have pins at the end, so you'll need jumpers with sockets on sockets. But definitely great quality, definitely recommend.
