Review on ๐Ÿถ BANMODER 12 Puppy Collars: Whelping Nylon Breakaway Collars with ID Tags - Vibrant Litter Puppy Identification Collars by Lorri Ciccio

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for 2-7 weeks

up to 2 weeks old for a medium sized breed is too much. At 7 weeks the puppies became too rough and the colors were slightly spoiled by the rough play of the littermates. Neither surprising nor disappointing, although families hoped to retain the colors they saw in photos and videos. The collars are easily adjustable as the puppies grow. I checked to make sure they weren't too tight but kept finding they never were. I don't know if it was intentional or a mistake. These are detachable collars for ID only. Even if they have leash attachments, don't expect the collar to put any pressure on and everything to stick to the pup. This is not a product defect. This is a safety feature and while it was inconvenient at times, when I found two puppies without collars it was no cause for alarm. If you are a responsible breeder you will not need collars after the first two weeks and collars will only become necessary for the public. At week 8 my puppies are no longer wearing collars as they were all destroyed last week and this weekend they are all moving to their new homes and getting names for themselves. I am giving this product 4 stars out of 5 overall because I would like a more durable product. Metal tokens are noisy and not needed. I took them out of my pocket before putting the collars on the puppies while trying to avoid migraines from the level of their noise. Please, BANMODER - remove the tags.
