This item has replaced a worn out treadmill that has been scorching the Texas sun for the last 3 years. Right out of the box, from the latches and tension spring to the sleeve that encased the entire length of the cable, I could tell that this would last MUCH longer than the old one. It's midsummer here in South Texas, and this wire lays in the sun every day. Won't stretch, discolor or crumble! The latch locking system is a nice added security feature that prevents quick accidental release. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality guy cable with great length and incredible durability!
