Waterproof

These lights have a universal pluggable rubber housing. Yes they stay in place but I hope you enjoy getting water in the tail light housing. They cannot be given a waterproof seal due to the way they are made. If you're willing to take the risk, you'd better put dialect grease on the factory taillight connector since it's now miraculously exposed to the elements. Maybe this is a moot point on a car, but on my truck you have a clear water entry point.
