Volvo 240 starts again in the rain!
Replaced the distributor cap on a 92 Volvo 240 when our car was having trouble starting in the rain. We checked and found that the old cover was original and had quite a bit of condensation on the underside of the inside of the cover, causing the copper contacts to oxidize. Immediately after installing this new distributor cap, the car overturned. and since then i haven't had any more problems. I recommend using Bosch parts for older Volvo vehicles!
