Facial Foamer is a fun product for making foam facial cleanser or hand soap. To wash, simply put a small amount of soap in the container and add some water up to the line on the side of the cup. Put the cap on and then move the small handle up and down until you get a light lather. The foam that comes out is thick and fluffy, like shaving cream. If you use more soap, you will get a thicker lather that cleans your skin better. While I like the feel of lather, I've found that it's not necessarily the best for washing my face. Since the cleanser was no longer concentrated, I noticed that the product, especially makeup, no longer washed off as easily. This was by no means the foam manufacturer's fault, it just proved that buying foaming bottled cleansers from the store is different than just lathering your gel or cream cleanser. I ended up letting my daughter use this for her morning facial cleanse as she usually just uses water anyway. She found the foaming cleanser fun, and it certainly took fewer reminders to get her to wash her face in the morning. Overall, this is a fun but rather unnecessary gadget to add to your face washing routine.
