Just received, opened it, made sure that part of the fabric mask fits the face (matches) and then assembled with filters and immediately realized the filter didn't reach the material the mask when attaching it. On a cloth mask, there is actually a 3/4 inch gap between the filter and the nose clip. If I try to put it on like this, the internal filter will functionally pinch the bridge of my nose and I can't breathe into anything through my nose. Looking more closely at this issue, I can fit the filter deeper into the mask (the filter fits neatly into the cloth piece), but the holes in the cloth mask don't line up with the holes in the filter. For this mask to work I would have to recreate the holes in the fabric piece to match the filter. You can argue that this is not the case. My proposition? Buy a mask with components designed to fit properly with another.
