This is the first time I have bought a foot mask. I may have left it on for too long but it's been a few days since the skin started peeling but the worst part is my ankle and upper part of my right leg - they were really seriously irritated from the solution and incredibly dry . Tried shea butter but no luck so far. I will ask the dermatologist when I have an appointment. I have to say it's incredibly impractical. Perhaps an unscented or flavored version would be a better option. Anyway, I have no intention of buying it again. If you are using this mask, I highly recommend trimming the mask further so that it only covers the soles of your feet and not your real skin around your ankles and above. For me that was the worst and very uncomfortable.
