I used this and wasn't sure how well it did in helping my pup stop barking because he never quite stopped. I noticed that he stopped immediately when he heard the sound, but then continued to bark, which didn't help. When a friend recently came up to me and started laughing, I noticed that my pup assumed the same attentive posture when she laughed and exactly the same posture when he stopped barking from the ultrasound machine. It happened a few more times. I felt really stupid when I realized that every time my friend or I laughed, the ultrasound scanner would flash a red light and my dog would stand at attention for a second, even though he hadn't barked before or after! I was angry because I didn't realize this was happening since I had this ultrasound machine for a few weeks. No wonder my dog wouldn't stop barking. It sounded even when he wasn't barking, and probably because I was laughing. I know it's true when I've laughed because after I found out when my boyfriend was done I tested it on my own laugh. He's on his way back. I did so much research before buying this and am so disappointed because I wanted and needed something that worked. Goodbye.
