Very easy to use, clear liquid, odourless; Retractable top lever helps prevent spills/leaks. I just squeeze a thin strip of it over a piece of paper and run it through the blades about once every two weeks, whether the cutting basket is full or not. The oil can be squeezed directly onto the shredder blades, but is less likely to drip if you use paper! Aurora SL16 Professional Grade Synthetic Shredder Oil, a 16-ounce leak-proof flip-top shredder bottle, seems to work well, and the oil is inexpensive ($10.50 for a 16-ounce bottle). This bottle should last at least six months for moderate grinding, which I do with a small household grinder.
