They were pretty cheap so I thought let's try and see. Maybe they are great. When I received the item I was disappointed. The handles are made of some sort of plastic I think and almost spray painted to "look" like wood. I've used one of the knives 3 or 4 times and now the handle is completely loose and will soon come loose. If one breaks, the others will soon follow. I have returned this item. It's not worth it. Instead we bought some higher quality all metals that will hopefully last a little longer. (Although those knives were pretty sharp, I'll give you this)
