Review on 💾 High-Speed Silicon Power 512GB Micro SD Card U3 - Compatible with Nintendo Switch, SDXC microSDXC Memory Card with Adapter by Jason Arkin

Update: I received a replacement. Online shop. After a while (maybe 10-20 minutes) the download process stopped. After checking the download status, the switch gave me an error message saying the data is corrupt and I should try to restart the download. For testing I used the smallest game I had and couldn't complete the download. After that, the switch had trouble connecting the SD card and couldn't reformat it even if it was able to install it. Unlike the first card I got, I could install this card on my laptop and wipe the filesystem to start fresh (again with a toggle to format), but the whole cycle seemed to repeat itself, so the card always still remained unsuitable for use with switches. The question of whether this card will work on the switch has been asked multiple times and the vendor says yes every time, so I'm not sure why I'm having this issue (especially with more than 1 SD card). It's possible that the issue is related to the Nintendo formatting software on the Switch, and I could probably test this with the Pi as well to confirm it's a card and not a Switch, but for now I have Tried enough troubleshooting and would love to just get a refund as my 128GB Micro Center SD card worked right out of the box and I have no practical use for a 512GB SD card on any other device outside of the Switch. ------------ ----- ------ -------------- ----------- ------ ------------- Initial Feedback: After downloading my data from my 128GB SD card (Micro Center) formatted and transferred to this 512GB SD card, I put that card directly into the Switch. After working normally for about a week, it suddenly stopped showing/installing on the Switch. I removed it from the Switch and found it was read only and couldn't be formatted (which I think is a good indicator that the card isn't working). I am currently waiting for a replacement to be sent. from Revain and will update if I have the same issue or if it takes longer than a week.
