When I tried this sharpener I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use .It sharpened my pencils to a fine point, perfect for detailed drawings. The sharpener also collects the shavings in a small compartment, keeping my workspace clean. However, the price may be a bit steep for those on a tight budget. OVERALL, a great addition to any artist's toolkit..
