Great fan, moves a lot of air. Very nice style. The blades really blow the air around the sides of the room, giving everything a "fresh air" feel rather than a mechanical fan blowing at you; more than most ceiling fans. The remote works well although I plan on replacing mine with an Insteon home automation module. The fan is quiet, powerful and the light is very bright, albeit not LED. It does dim better than LEDs though, which is great for a bedroom atmosphere, so I'm happy with that. Another nice thing about the light is that when you turn it off and on again, it remembers the last brightness setting. So when you turn off the lights, you won't be overwhelmed by hundreds of watts of halogen lighting in the morning!
