I was looking for a toothbrush holder that doesn't allow water to pool at the base which can leave an ugly film on the underside of the toothbrush handle. I'm a nasty germophobe. I even tried using suction cups to keep me warm underneath, but then the thought of wet brushes got on my nerves. Most of you are probably not as crazy as I am when it comes to cleanliness, but at least you can get an idea of how great this shelf is. It doesn't collect water, has enough space for multiple brushes (I use 4 different types and my husband has 2), and it also has space for your toothpaste. The rack comes with small plastic/rubber feet to keep it from rusting in the sink and it even comes with 4 extra spare feet! It really did save a life. I highly recommend it!
