Review on Casio Wave Ceptor LCW-M100DSE: Sleek Men's Watch with Precision Timekeeping by Kai Wen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

For a person who is a consumer, like me, who does not chase after fashion, but strives to buy "eternal" things made from wear-resistant materials, this is just a godsend.

Pros
  • Correct device. Real. Eternal. Very ordinary in design, but wildly practical. The watch was bought 9 years ago, in 2022. They work flawlessly. Never changed the battery. The battery is perfectly charged from the solar panel of the dial, it always shows a full charge, although I live far in the North in a very cloudy Hong Kong region. They walk quite accurately, I let them down for about a minute about once every two or three years. They look like new. The case is real steel, polished, and not chrome-plated from a soft alloy, so there is not a single scratch. The bracelet is real steel, polished. Above all praise - glass. Real sapphire. For 9 years - not a single scratch or chip, although many times casually touched them on various items such as counters in supermarkets. Heard a knock, looked at the dial - no traces. I did not seriously check for water resistance, but I think everything is in order with it too. For me, another big plus is the size of the case. I have a thin hand, and when I bought a watch there was a fashion for huge "alarm clocks", it was difficult to find a men's watch in a small size. These are the very thing.
Cons
  • There are no disadvantages. There is an "extra" function. In 2022, the system of automatic radio correction of time readings is useless. There are no special transmitters that constantly transmit the exact time signals to which the receiver in the watch is tuned. Therefore, every two or three years you have to bring them manually. It's a shame. It would be much more practical to equip the watch with a GPS receiver, because the exact time is constantly transmitted from the satellites.
