Review on 🧺 YIGII Towel Hook/Adhesive Hooks 4-Pack - Premium Bathroom Wall Hooks, Self Adhesive Coat Hook, Stainless Steel Brushed Finish by Christine Castrillon

I bought these to hang on the shower screen outside of the shower to hold towels. The package arrived in perfect condition but when I opened the box the tubes of glue looked weathered. I waved it off, thinking everything would be fine. I cleaned the glass, removed the paper from the adhesive strips holding the hook while the glue dries. When I went to open the glue I had to use an awl to make a hole. When I tried to put glue on the hook, it didn't come out. I figured it would be some kind of thick glue so I made a bigger hole in the tube to allow the barley to come out. I ended up tearing the tubing in half to remove the glue. It seemed to me that the glue dried up, but not knowing what was better, I went with it. The second tube I tried was worse, it looked like a hard piece of plastic. The third was the best, so I split it between the other two hooks. I thought of other reviews that said hooks fall off the surface after following the instructions. I wonder if the glue is the reason they don't stick well. Mine are on top, but I'm willing to buy glue from another source in case they fall off. At this point I did not hang the load on the hooks. I give them 48 hours to dry instead of the recommended 24.
