When I bought this device I was looking for a device with accurate distance measurement and every time I have used it I have felt that it is doing a good job. This makes it very easy to track the distance of the shot. The display is large and easy to read at any time of the day. Having reliable shipyards improved my game. I have seen negative comments in other reviews regarding the plastic and magnet on the device. I guess I don't understand what fancy plastic or magnet they expect for $100? Everything is fine with the plastic, I did not notice any problems with it. The magnet helped me a lot. I think the way it's done a little differently when it can be attached to things like a fridge magnet is cool and unique. I've clipped it to my clothing, purse, and golf cart and have never experienced it come loose easily or have a "weak" magnet. Of course, if you're not paying attention to what you're doing and bumping into it hard, it will come loose, but if you're paying attention to the actions that deal with it, it will be prevented. I tested this on my friend's $600 laser GPS and it was always within 1-2 meters of his. He has a phone app that works great. You enter and select the course you are on. It displays the par, footage and updates your position for that particular hole. It's touch sensitive, giving you the exact footage for your chosen spot while also showing potential dangers. All in all I think this GPS golf navigator is worth what I paid for it. I don't have much time and I've already lost a few shots compared to my usual game.
