Bought a used car and found that someone had taped the antenna to the roof of the car. So I cut off the factory receiver and installed it. I cannot confirm reception which this may improve or disrupt as my wiring harness was damaged and due to cost reasons I did not replace it. But now it's on my roof to make sure moisture doesn't get into my roof and damage the headliner. It's a little bigger than I would have liked, I wish I'd read the dimensions a little better. Haven't had any problems so far, but I'm amazed at the longevity of washing the car at least once a week. I can't deduct any stars due to the incorrect product description, but that's why I'm giving 3 stars for the style. The color goes well with my magnetic black Nissan. Overall not bad. I would probably buy it again if I was in the same situation. I'll see durability over time.
