First of all it was supposed to be an upgrade for my Lexar 16GB Firefly. There are no capacity issues. write speed lags. Specifically, I run a genealogy program that I also ran on Firefly. There is no comparison. While not fast, Firefly is much faster compared to V10. Also, I got this because it can be carried on a keychain. Again, it really doesn't compare to my Firefly. The cover fits the V10 snugly and snugly and can be clipped to the back of the drive when it's plugged in, but only if you're not planning on clipping it to a keychain or attaching it to another portable device. On the back of the drive is a miniature mechanism that can be used with a loop for a cell phone keychain or similar. On the Firefly it's part of the cap and fits easily over the key ring (and on my Firefly the cap is still on a few years later). On the V10 it's a plastic grommet/bridge through which you need to thread a loop of thin strap, or perhaps an adapter ring to attach to your key ring (I used a cell phone key ring found in my bead accessories: flexible loop that attaches to the adapter ring at one end, slide it back on and attach the adapter ring to the key ring (I have mine on a snap hook so I can take it off and my keys don't hang off the drive when it's in the computer Absolutely. Design flaws. I think I'll get a 32GB Firefly too. I suspect I'll be happier with it, plus it has a brilliant name!
